Ballet performance

On Monday the 26th we had our dress rehearsal for our ballet performance on Thursday. We almost epically failed the dress rehearsal, our dance teacher Mrs. Amanda had to help us through all the steps. it all got harder when Missoula children's theater came and we skipped a practice as well as one of our group members had left for spring break early and we had to change our whole dance around. we originally were going to be wearing these giant, cotton candy pink dresses that qualified as a tutu but practically explode in your face. one thing i learned is that its hard to smile and get all of your steps just right as well as look all majestic and not look down and crack up up about the fact that you look like a cupcake. it takes skill. after our teacher decided they were "a bit much" we changed to just wearing black leotards and red flowers in our hair. although our dress rehearsal was a terrible, frowning pink marshmallow disaster, our actual performance turned out ok. before the performance Olivia, Sarah, Elisabeth and i were really nervous about our performance, we were the oldest and had to go first. We had a fear that the recital would turn out like our pink duck disaster of a dress recital but thankfully it didn't. We did great I thought and discussed only one small mess up after the performance, the whole dance seemed to go bye fast and we were in a way relieved to get it done and we all were excited for our spring breaks. I was leaving for Phoenix the next morning and said goodbye to all my cousins.
