Wednesday: Cannon balls and haircuts!

Today, 4/4/12 we woke up put our gills on again and walked out to our neighborhood pool, which contains the ability to freeze your brain, and stop all your thoughts except for the one that insists you should exit the pool faster than you entered it. before you jump you think "i will soon regret this" and the second your in the water you can boldly say to your self " i was really do regret this then the instincts kick in after your body slows the blood to your arms and your legs as you preform your best frantic scramble to the edge of the pool. you then quickly evacuate the pool to the sun as your blood stops contracting and you flop down into the hot tub and realize what pasta must feel like when being boiled and for once feel sympathy for noodles. the main reason we decided to do all this was to get good pictures and thank goodness we did:) later we drove over to our grandparents house, dropped off dad and Justin and took grandma to the mall with us for our second trip. we meant to go so Libby and i could each get a pair of those awesome ninja pants we saw before but when we got there the store was completely gone!!!! we then happened to run into a different store that had scarves with the same jingly things on them for a fairly good price, i got blue and Libby got red. both Libby and i needed hair cuts pretty badly so we went to a place in the mall where the lady didn't say anything sat us down in chairs and had a very strong Spanish accent of which Libby could not understand at all. we went to a lot of different fun stores and helped grandma pick out some clothes for Easter, drove back and swam some more and had dinner.

Fifth Day and Chick-fil-a!

Today, 4/3/12 was our fifth day in phoenix for vacation, after the long day at the Grand canyon all Libby, Justin and i wanted to do was swim and thats almost all we ended up doing. we had a calm morning and slept in for almost an hour unlike the day before and sat around until about lunch time. in honor of a Tim Hawkins song and our good friends as well as Justin's constant plead we went to chick-fil-a for lunch. the food was great and it truly is all chicken, the sad part was that they were all out of this amazing cheese cake. after that we put on our gills and drove to our grandparents house to swim for what ended up being about 3 hours. we again were messing around with the floatation devices, taking dramatic pictures and working the sunburns. oh, and after lunch we had to make a quick run to target to buy a replacement for a sunken ship/ flotation device due to my dad being the captain of the flotation device. following the ships sinking we (my dad and i) were attempting to pull a pool noodle to the bottom of the pool and ended with the pool noodle (obviously passing flotation quality) shooting straight up and hitting dad in the jaw and making the funniest noise i have ever heard from a human jaw being slammed closed, and is by far to funny and difficult to explain.
