Rafting the Yellowstone with the Beirles!

today we went to church normally but loaded up the kayak and the canoe for a trip after church to dailey lake for a chance to try my moms new kayak on "calm water environment for learners". after church we had a luncheon in the basement as a fund raiser for our mission trip this summer, at which Nichole, k-girl and i ate a ton of pie and went crazyish. k-girl later on layed in the middle of the road an was pretending to be road kill, but could not seem to stop laughing even when we had explained that dead things don't usually laugh. so off to dailey lake we went, we got to our calm first-time-attempt-at-the-kayak destination and saw white caps on white caps and para sailors, if we attempted to kayak wed probably be blown away. later on after driving around a lot, it ended up that the Beirle's brought another kayak for my dad and a flying pig raft. we started at the corwin springs landing and went down past my grandparents house to another landing, we had all planed to stay dry but ended wet and covered in sand. and its only march and was about 75degrees the whole time!

finally started a blog!!

i finally started a blog! blogging looks fun, i plan to fill my blog with my extra-ordinary moments, my English story assignments that were approved of, pictures(i <3 pictures),and to keep my friend updated for the while because the cant seem to come back for vacation, and any other random stuff i think of, i guess that's kind of how a blog works. my name is Emma and i live literally right next to Yellowstone, i could get up and walk there if i wanted to, its so cool to look out our classroom windows and be able to see the arch and an occasional buffalo licking the window. i live in Gardiner, not a city not a town but a village, and my friends and i are very proud villagers, so just, watch out for how weird/amazing us villagers get, here people can be weird and get away with it because almost everyone knows everyone and weird sometimes = extraordinary. this is my attempt to make a blog so here it goes..............
